Evaluation of Recycled Glass as a Filtration Medium for Muncipal Water Treatment

Summary:

In this project, recycled glass was tested in parallel with three types of conventional sand for "slow sand" municipal water treatment. The recycled glass sample was crushed, graded and tested in a typical column filtration process, and compared to results for the other sand samples in the same filtration process and conditions.
