Street Wastes: Reprocessing and Reuse (1997)

Summary:

Vactor waste from street cleaning includes vegetative matter, litter and mineral fractions. Current disposal options for this waste stream are limited. This project identified processing technologies and alternative end uses of street sweepings and vactor grit for a higher value end use than landfilling.
