The Southwest Public Recycling Association (SPRA) is a non-profit, member-based association dedicated to helping communities develop sustainable recycling programs. Collectively, SPRA's members command premium prices at the marketplace and receive competitive rates on trucking. The Tucson, Arizona based organization targets recycling development in the Rocky Mountain Southwest states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah.

Business Assistance Providers

 

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created by Congress in 1953 to help America's entrepreneurs form successful small enterprises. Today, SBA's program offices in every state offer financing, training and advocacy for small firms. These programs are delivered by SBA offices in every state, the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. In addition, the SBA works with thousands of lending, educational and training institutions nationwide.

Small Business Institute™
Student consulting program for small businesses, involving teams of undergraduates or graduates working with the owner during one academic quarter. The teams have access to local business mentors in a related industry. Small businesses in King County area are eligible for this program, however other academic institutions provide similar services. Over 2,000 small businesses have participated in the Small Business Institute™ program since its inception in 1976.
