These test methods were developed, and in some cases adapted from ASTM methods, for the initial purpose of resolving disputes regarding buying and selling of recyclable materials through recyclables exchange systems. The methods do not provide an Acceptance Quality Level (AQL) or acceptance criteria, but do provide suggested sampling and testing methods to evaluate the quality and properties of various forms of recycled HDPE.
