The goal of this study was to gather [non-regulatory] baseline information on dust levels generated at a small-scale plastics sorting and recycling facility, in order to assist in designing adequate dust control options. Samples of indoor dust levels, of both respirable and nuisance dust, generated during sortation and densification operations of polypropylene film, were measured and evaluated.
