On his first day in office, President Biden revoked former President Trump Executive Orders and Presidential Proclamations that were issued to restrict the travel
of foreigners attempting to enter the U.S. from predominantly Muslim countries
and later from African countries. President Biden also resumed visa processing activities in
U.S. consulates and embassies for those seeking to enter the country, including
the restoration of the H-1B visa program.
