CWC’s Updated Guide To Drafting an Effective EEOC Position Statement

September 25, 2024

What's New

We have updated our Guide to Drafting an Effective EEOC Position Statement now that the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has transitioned to a digitized charge process.

What It Means

Once the EEOC receives a discrimination charge, an agency investigator will ask the employer to submit a position statement. The employer is well advised to do so, even though such a statement is not required. CWC’s updated guide offers some best practices for preparing an effective EEOC position statement.

What You Should Do

Member companies that want more hands-on information can access CWC’s online training course called “Investigating and Responding to Charges of Discrimination.” For more information, please go to CWC Online Learning.
