June 28, 2023

What's New

The OFCCP has posted on its website multiple foreign language versions of its Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form (Form CC-305). A covered federal contractor must use the CC-305, without modification, to comply with OFCCP requirements to collect applicant and employee disability data. Until now, the form has been available only in English.

The foreign language versions of the CC-305 that OFCCP has posted on its website include forms translated into:

  • Bengali
  • German
  • Haitian Creole
  • Hindi
  • Japanese
  • Mandarin
  • Spanish
  • Tagalog and
  • Ukrainian.

OFCCP also indicates that it intends to translate the CC-305 into additional languages, including Arabic, Farsi, Korean, and Urdu. At this time, the foreign language versions of Form CC-305 are available in MS Word format only.

What It Means

The availability of Form CC-305 in a selection of foreign languages will help federal contractors comply with OFCCP rules implementing the affirmative action requirements of Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act.

What You Should Do

Employers should download the foreign language versions from OFCCP’s website, as necessary.
