CWC Comments to OMB Support DOL’s Request To Extend the VETS-4212

April 18, 2024

What's New

CWC has filed comments with OMB supporting a request from the Labor Department’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service to extend the Federal Contractor Veterans’ Employment Report (VETS-4212) for three more years.

Approval from the White House Office of Management and Budget, which is expected soon, is the final step required by the Paperwork Reduction Act when a federal agency seeks to extend an existing information collection requirement.

What It Means

Federal contractors are familiar with the relatively straightforward VETS-4212 form, so they will find the annual filing process fairly easy if OMB allows DOL-VETS to continue using this form, without change, as CWC’s comments noted.

What You Should Do

CWC members should stay tuned for CWC’s updates on future developments regarding the VETS-4212 form.
