Trump Administration Seeks to End Disparate Impact Liability

President Trump has signed an Executive Order (E.O.) seeking to eliminate the use of disparate impact liability, which has been a central feature of many civil rights law for decades. In this roundtable, we’ll discuss the new E.O., its likely impact on employers, and how it may impact civil rights compliance programs.
