The Department of Labor has finalized revisions to its regulations defining the overtime exemption for executive, administrative, and professional employees. Among other things, the revisions will increase the minimum salary that employers must pay in order to continue to use the exemption. In this session, we’ll summarize DOL’s revisions and what employers should be thinking about now as they assess how to respond to the new rule.
The Federal Trade Commission has voted to approve a new regulation that will effectively ban most noncompete agreements. In this session, we’ll summarize the final rule and what employers should be thinking about now as they assess the impact on their workplace.
