The Department of Labor's Veterans' Employment and Training Service (DOL-VETS) has published a
fact sheet reminding employers and other stakeholders of how the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) applies if employees who are members of the National Guard or Reserves are called to active duty in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Of particular note, the fact sheet advises that employers may not delay reemployment of a service member out of concern that his or her service in a COVID-19 affected area may have exposed him or her to COVID-19.
